Upcoming Smartphones with Dimensity 9500: Vivo X300, X300 Pro, Oppo Find X9 & X9 Pro
MediaTek is ready to shake up the flagship smartphone market with its all-new Dimensity 9500 chipset. Built on a 3nm process, this chip focuses on console-grade ray tracing, next-gen AI performance, and massive power efficiency improvements — all while offering top-tier camera and display capabilities.
With Vivo and Oppo leading the launch wave, the first Dimensity 9500-powered smartphones will start rolling out in October 2025.
Why the Dimensity 9500 Matters
The Dimensity 9500 features an 8-core CPU (including a 4.21GHz Ultra Core), three 3.5GHz Super Cores, and four 2.7GHz Performance Cores. According to MediaTek, it delivers 32% higher single-core and 17% better multi-core performance compared to its predecessor — while using 55% less power at peak load.
It supports LPDDR5X RAM (9600Mbps) and 4-channel UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring ultra-fast data access. The NPU 990 doubles AI image generation speed and reduces power use by a third.
On the graphics side, the G1-Ultra GPU brings 33% more performance and 42% greater efficiency, with support for Unreal Engine 5.6’s MegaLights and Nanite rendering, making it a serious chip for mobile gamers.
Meanwhile, the Imagiq 1190 ISP allows 320MP image capture, Dolby Vision 4K@120fps recording, and advanced MiraVision adaptive display tuning.
Vivo X300 & X300 Pro

Vivo will be the first brand to debut phones powered by the Dimensity 9500 — the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro.
Both models will feature BOE Q10 Plus LTPO OLED displays with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and eye comfort with a minimum brightness as low as 1 nit.

Oppo is joining the race with its Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, both equipped with the Dimensity 9500 and running ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

The Find X9 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display (1.5K, 120Hz), boasting 3,600 nits peak brightness with a 1-nit eye-protection panel from Tianma.

Both phones are certified in India, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, confirming a full global rollout. Oppo has also revealed that ColorOS 16 will officially launch on October 15 — right before the Find X9 debut.
