OnePlus 15 launch Gears Up for October Launch in China with 165Hz Display & Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
OnePlus is readying its next big flagship, the OnePlus 15, which will debut in China this October. Early details suggest it’s not just another premium phone—it’s shaping up to be OnePlus’ most gaming-focused device yet.
At its core sits the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm’s latest powerhouse chip, delivering a 20% CPU boost and 23% GPU improvement over the previous Snapdragon 8 Elite. Benchmark leaks back this up, showing Geekbench single-core gains of 25% and multi-core scores nearing 11,000 points.
The display is another highlight. The OnePlus 15 sports a 6.78-inch BOE X3 Oriental AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, a jump from the 120Hz ceiling on the OnePlus 13. This makes it one of the rare flagships offering ultra-high refresh rates, tailored for smooth gaming.

OnePlus is putting that panel to good use. Company president Louis Lee confirmed that popular titles like Call of Duty Mobile, Delta Force, Arena Breakout, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Naruto Mobile will support 165 fps gameplay. Independent testing from Geekerwan found Delta Force running at an average of 164.9 fps for 30 minutes, with stable performance, low frame drops, and efficient power draw of just 4.7W.
Other rumored specs include ColorOS 16, ultra-slim bezels, and a 7,000mAh battery with 120W charging. Price leaks suggest it may launch below the OnePlus 13’s CNY 4,499 (~$630) price tag, making it an attractive alternative to the Xiaomi 17 series and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. A global launch is expected in early 2026.
