Oppo Pad 5 Leak Hints at Big Display, Dimensity 9400+, and OnePlus Pad 2 Rebrand – News
Oppo is getting ready to expand its tablet lineup, and the upcoming Oppo Pad 5 might be its most powerful yet. A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station reveals almost everything about the device — and also suggests that OnePlus will launch the same tablet under the name OnePlus Pad 2 in China.
What the Leak Reveals
The Oppo Pad 5 is tipped to come with a large 12.1-inch LCD display that supports 3K resolution and a fast 144Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for work, streaming, and gaming. On the back, there will be a simple 8MP camera, while details about the front shooter haven’t surfaced yet.
Powering the tablet will be MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with a huge 10,300mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. Despite the large battery, it’s expected to weigh around 579 grams, though thickness details are still unknown.
The leak also mentions multiple storage and RAM options, ranging from 8GB+128GB all the way up to 16GB+512GB. Oppo is said to offer the Pad 5 in Purple, Silver, and Gray, while the OnePlus version will come in Blue and Gray.
